Lady Gaga used her downtime before her Houston show on Sunday night (December 3), to lend a helping hand to victims of Hurricane Harvey. In a series of tweets we see Gaga in a white jumpsuit, wearing safety glasses and wielding a crowbar and a sledgehammer, helping with doing some demolishing in the house of a woman named Pamela, which suffered a lot of water damage and mold issues because of the hurricane.

“Before the #JoanneWorldtourHouston tonight me and @btwfoundation teamed up with @teamrubicon to do some demolition due to water damage and mold remediation in Pamela’s house from Hurricane Harvey” –She wrote alongside a picture with Pamela and her family on twitter

Lady Gaga’s Born This Way foundation also posted a video of her wielding a sledgehammer, and breaking down some walls when on her volunteer shift before taking the stage later that night at the Toyota Center in Houston.

“Recovering – physically, mentally, emotionally- from natural disasters takes time + the work isn’t over yet. Thanks @TeamRubicon for inviting our co-founder @ladygaga to volunteer today in #Houston! Donate now to help these awesome vets do more:” –Explained the caption of the video
